Andi’s Blog…or life according to the voices in my head…

Q: How do you get Andi to shut the hell up?

A: Convince her to start a blog.

It seems I had a ton of (seemingly witty) things to say during the months that (mostly) Pat and (to some extent) Fluffy were lobbying for an Andi blog. Based on the infrequency of posts, it appears that I have run out of things to say. Maybe it’s just that life is less interesting now that I wake up to alarm clock sounds rather than car bomb sounds.

Little Sister has been home on leave for the last couple of weeks. I have gained aprox 5-10 lbs (depending on what time of day we consult the scale) since she got back. I assume this is due to the massive amount of dining out, but I can’t hold that against her since she doesn’t have real restaurant perks in the sandbox and Chuy’s salsa is a non-shipable commodity. We’ve gotten to take a couple of short trips together. Last weekend we went to LA. We were only there for 2 days and didn’t really have time to do the whole LA thing but it was still fun. We did get to go horseback riding up to the Hollywood sign and down the other side of the “mountain”. That was a blast and the soreness is almost completely gone.

Today is her birthday and she convinced me to skip class to hang out with her – then she promptly went back to bed. I think I’ll do the same in a few minutes. Happy Birthday Mai Mai!
